Directions to Anacostia Park

Note: Mapquest and Google Maps can't get the precise location right, so plug in 1800 Anacostia Dr SE as the address. The fields are between I-295 and Pennsylvania Ave.

From points SOUTH (I-395 N)

Follow I-395 North to I-295 South. Follow signs for Martin Luther King Blvd.

When you approach the bridge you will see signs for Anacostia Park. Get in the left center lane. The park exit is at the end of the bridge and is somewhat obscured. It is a pretty sharp turn so be ready for it.

Go down the ramp and make a right. The Park entrance is straight ahead.

Turn right. The fields are on the right. Park in the big parking lot to the left of the recreation center.

From points NORTH (Anacostia Blvd N or S)

Take the Pennsylvania Ave East Exit.

Turn right on to Minnesota Av.

Turn right on Nicholson St. This will take you straight to the park entrance.

Turn left. Drive down to the recreation center on the left. Check-in tent will be at the far end of the parking lot.
