SU in D.C. Club Scholarship Donations
One of the primary goals of the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Washington is to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships and text book certificates to students attending SU from the greater Washington, DC area. The Club has had generous support in the past from its membership, and supplements membership donations with proceeds from Club events when necessary to ensure a consistent, increasing level of contribution to scholastic endeavors for students from this area.
Club members have many personal reasons for donating to the Club's Scholarship Fund, including:
- a desire to express their thanks as a means to ensure that current and future students have the opportunity to experience a Syracuse education as they did; and/or
- to show appreciation for what a Syracuse education has meant to their professional careers.
The Club is accepting donations for its Student Scholarship fund. Donations are tax-deductible and help a current SU student via a needs-based scholarship and/or incoming freshman via textbook certificates given during the Club’s Student Send Off. If you are interested in providing a donation, you may do so with your annual membership, or by contacting the Greenberg House at (202) SYR-GOSU (797-4678).
