Team History
In 2001 Doug Smith ('98) and Jennifer Patterson ('94) started the SU Alumni Co-ed Flag Football team. From a humble 3-4 season in 2001 to an 8-2 season in 2003, the 'Cuse Alumni returned to the gridiron with their eyes set on a championship in 2004.

The SU team is co-ed with 8 players on the field at a time (5 men, 3 women). We practice and play hard, but go out afterwards to a local sports bar.

We have a large roster, but new alumni players are always welcome. Please contact Doug Smith if you are interested in playing: dsmith2@kforce.com.

We play in the CAN League--www.dcalum.org. Forty-nine college alumni clubs participated in the league last year and more are expected this season.

Be forewarned that we play most of our games on Saturday mornings--beginning in October and ending mid-January. Yes, we play in the rain and snow--after all, we are from Syracuse and love to watch the southern teams struggle in the harsh conditions.
