Syracuse Alumni Club of DC competes regularly in the Capital Alumni Network (CAN) sports leagues (www.dcalum.org) – CAN organizes Co-Ed sports leagues matching local alumni clubs/associations against each other. CAN Sports leagues are based on seasons. However, many of the coaches/teams play in other leagues both in and out of the CAN seasonal schedule. The following is the general CAN schedule for sports leagues in which the Syracuse Alumni Club of Washigton, D.C. regularly participates:

Football The football season has started, all games are played at Anacostia Park. Volleyball The Club is looking into other Non-CAN volleyball leagues for the winter. The Alumni Club has also participated in other sports related events: • Broomball vs. a local alumni club, on Verizon Center ice after Washington Capitals hockey game. • Providing support at water stations for the Washington DC Marathon
