Join us for Thursty Thursdays, an opportunity for members of the Syracuse University community to meet, socialize and network at restaurants and bars throughout the D.C. area. Each month, the gatherings will be hosted in various establishments in different neighborhoods.

Past Thursty Thursdays

The Omni Shoreham Hotel combines happy hour with swimming by opening its large, secluded pool to the public, including deck chairs and hot tub. A special menu of frozen drinks completes the "tropical" mood. The SU Club of Washington will be there on 8/21/2008 for Thursty Thursday starting at 5:30 pm.

There is a $15 cover charge, but that fee includes a drink (an $8 value) and use of the large, shallow pool, as well as the hotel's locker rooms, sauna, and towels.

The pool is set behind the hotel, above Rock Creek Park. Come relax with fellow alums as summer winds down in Washington.
